US Open

I went to my first US Open over the Labor weekend with some of the NY nutz. We were in the nose-bleed section but to my suprise, could see the action quite clearly. The weather was lovely and we luck-out and managed to see a game between the #1 seeded Amelie Maureso and Serene Williams. Everything would have been perfect bar one very obnoxious extended family and friends who chose to talk throughout the 3 sets. You have to admire anyone who can continue with mundae topics such as 'Why don't you buy a Ferrari, it is only $xxx' at matchpoint of a world class tennis tournament. Boy, rich and obnoxious but in the cheapest seats. Still as usual, yours truly was a chicken nutz and did not voice my frustration.
